Elephants travel with regularity between Angola and Botswana’s Okavango Delta.  Large herds of buffalo roam these areas also.  Hippopotamus and crocodile are found in the Linyanti River and in the Okavango River as it passes through the Caprivi Strip.  Cape buffalo hunting in the Caprivi is recognized as one of the great dangerous game destinations in Africa to hunt a trophy Cape buffalo.  The area is known for having good numbers of buffalo and also produces some magnificent trophies.
